Dusan Lajovic looking forward to start
Dusan Lajovic, runner-up at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 last week, is one of the stars who is running for the title at fifth edition of the Millennium Estoril Open.
The Serbian shared with the Portuguese fans his last greatest achievement of his career. "I was in a final for the first time and having it at a Masters 1000 was incredible."
And when will you achieve your first trophy? "I don’t know if it's going to be here or somewhere else but I hope it going to happen in my career. I've already reached a final, I know what the feeling is, but it´s not going to be easy to continue at this level but I hope I´ll have more weeks like last week. I am enjoying the tennis and the way I am playing and I´m looking for every match."
Currently ranked at 24th, his best ranking ever, Lajovic will play against with Leonardo Mayer in the first round. About the clash, the serbian was cautious. "Mayer is difficult, he beat me in Argentina this year and he is playing very good tennis. It will be very tough. Also second round against Jarry or Jaziri and João Sousa or David Goffin in the quarter finals. It is a really strong tournament and it is good for the tournament to have such many good players. Everyone can be in the finals because they know how to play good tennis."
Lajovic will start his campaign in the tournament on Tuesday.
