Doubles main draw headlined by Robert Lindstedt and Sam Groth

Lindstedt and Groth headline doubles draw with strong Portuguese flair

The Swedish/Australian partnership, who made the quarter-finals in Budapest this week and currently feature at 46.º in the doubles ranking, start their Portuguese ATP250 campaign against “kiwi” Michael Venus and American Ryan Harrison.

Second seeds Wesley Koolhof and Matwe Middelkoop from the Netherlands, face veteran Gilles Muller (LUX) and Malek Jaziri (TUN) in the first round.

The home crowd will have plenty of opportunities to cheer as two all-portuguese doubles teams will be eager to fight for success in the red clay of the courts in the Clube de Ténis do Estoril. Felipe Cunha-Silva and Fred Gil (pictured) will be up against neighboring Spaniards David Marrero and Tommy Robredo, while João Sousa and Brit Kyle Edmund will go head to head against another Spanish pair: Nicolas Almagro and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.

Finaly Davis Cup colleagues Gastão Elias and Frederico Silva, another all portuguese partnership, start their bid versus Ariel Behar and Aliaksandr Bury
