Pablo Carreño-Busta is in!
Spanish player returns to take a step further
One year after the epic final match of the 2nd edition of Millennium Estoril Open, its promoter, 3Love, announces the comeback of Pablo Carreño-Busta to Clube Ténis Estoril, from April 29th to May 7th. The youngest Spanish tennis player in the top 100 of the ATP ranking returns with a very clear goal - do even better than last time.
In 2005 Carreño-Busta lost with Nick Kyrgios and last year it wasn't possible to overcome Nicolás Almagro in the 2h46 final match. The tennis player is pleased with the possibility of winning the Portuguese title: "I'm very excited about coming back to a tournament that welcomes us so well and that has one of the best players frameworks in the ATP World Tour. I've been very close to winning and this year I'll try even more to take a step further in Millennium Estoril Open!" And truth be told, he has reasons to feel more confident - two months after the final match with Nicolás Almagro, Pablo Carreño-Busta won two trophies: Winston-Salem (EUA) and Kremlin Cup (Moscow). With these two titles, he matches Rafael Nadal and Bautusta-Agut in the number of titles won last year and also helped raising the number of Spanish victories in the ATP World Tour to 10.
Will he be able to take a step further this year? Let's see how it goes!
From April 29th to May 7th, we'll meet you at Clube Ténis Estoril.
