3Love, Millennium Estoril Open promoter, released this Tuesday the first international name that will be part of the 3rd edition of the only Portuguese event in the ATP World Tour calendar - Juan Martin del Potro, one of the most popular tennis players ever will join the Portuguese João Sousa.
"I'm very excited about going back to Portugal and to start my season in Estoril clay" - says the Argentine star. "I have excellent memories of your country and of your people, that not only welcomed me with such warm hospitality. Looking forward to returning and enjoying the past good vibes and use it for a great result".
Del Potro was recognised twice, by the ATP World Tour, as the "Comeback of the Year", winning these awards in 2011 and 2016. The 28 years old tennis player has an impressive résumé, being 19 individual titles, 1 Davis Cup and 2 Olympic medals (silver and bronze) are just some of the highlights.
